Please Note: 

Art Club lunch time meetings are temporarily on hold as the mural group works with artist Ginok Song Lee to create a mural for the school. An announcement will be made when Art Club resumes.

Sketchbooks

High School Art students are reminded that their second set of 10 sketches are due on Tuesday, February 16th. If I gave you suggestions on your last 10 sketches (ie: practice shading), I will be looking to see that you have taken my advice. Remember, you should be spending at least 15 or 20 minutes on a sketch.

It's almost time for Christmas break! Senior art students are cluing up painting projects and will begin new artworks when they return after break. Grade 7's will continue with editing their Stop Motion Animations when we return.

Report Cards

A reminder to students that report cards are being distributed next week. Please insure you have submitted any outstanding work as the deadline for overdue work has already passed.

Sketchbook Deadline

The first 10 sketches for Art 2200 and 3200 students are due on Monday, November 16th, so get sketching!

Remembrance Day Poster Contest

"As one of our primary goals, fostering Remembrance is a part of everything we do. National Democracy Challenge

 

The National Democracy Challenge invites Canadian students aged 14 to 17 to submit a video or image related to this year's theme: Show Canadians how to get ready to vote!

Welcome Back

Welcome Back to all my Art students! The year is off to a great start and I'm looking forward to working with all of you while you discover and create wonderful works of art.

A reminder to my Senior High Art students...You require a sketchbook for Art and Design 2200 and 3200. We will begin working in them right away so it's very important that you get one ASAP.
